Protein bars are really good snacks. When you’re feeling hungry and it’s still hours before dinner time, don’t go for that ice cream bar or bag of potato chips. However, not all protein bars are created equal, and you must pick only the healthiest protein bars.

How can you find this? First, if a protein bar is plain, without any chocolate, icing or sugar, then it might not be very healthy. Check out the back of the wrapper. Look at the sugar content and calorie count. A snack may seem healthy, but it may be loaded with a lot of extras that make it very bad for you.
